• Congratulations to the Varsity Flag Football team for their wins over Athens Academy and Winder-Barrow.

• Congratulations to the Cross Country teams for their performance in the Gladiator Invitational.  The Boys Varsity team finished first in the varsity boys division - the scorers were Noah Kilpatrich (4), Ryan Marshall (5) Gavin Benitez-Gay (6), Karl Ritzler (7), Henry Morgan (8), Luke Schliekelman (9), Torin Trotter (10), Charlie Black (14), and Ryker Comstock (20); the Girls Varsity team finish second in the girls varsity division - the scorers were Vivian Carabell (11), Elle Cranston (12) Sophia Alkhafaji (13) Ailynn Irwin (18) and Mariel Sanford (24); the following members of the JV Boys team finished in the Top 10 in the mixed division - Carlos Flores was 1st with a time of 18:28.24, and was joined in the top ten by Wills Allen (2), Dominik Lee (4), Bryan Rodriges-Solis (5), Josh Hutchens (6), Cooper Massey (9), and Ben Landry (10).

• Congratulations to the Esports Teams.  The Gold team defeated Grovetown 3-2 and the Red team defeated Veterans 3-0.

• The Clarke Central Athletic Department will recognize senior participants in football, cheerleading, softball, volleyball, cross country, flag football, marching band, and JROTC color guard prior to the Clarke Central vs. Alcovy football game on Friday, October 25.  Parents of seniors will be admitted free to the game. Seniors participants need to complete the online Senior Form and be on the field with their escort at 6:45 pm on Friday.  

• Clarke Central Athletics will be raising funds to support Coach Evan Adams in her battle against cancer by donating a portion of the gate from this Friday’s Clarke Central vs. Alcovy football game to the American Cancer Society and selling old Clarke Central game jerseys for $5 during lunch on Thursday and Friday with proceeds going to support Coach Adams.  Contributions can also be made to her GoFundMe Campaign.
