GLADIATOR STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

  • Congratulations to Lena Cook for being chosen as this week’s Clarke Central High School Gladiator Student-Athlete of the Week. Lena is a Senior on the Clarke Central Varsity Cross Country team.

  • “Lena is tremendously creative and that creativity, partnered with her intelligence and readiness to analyze and question the status quo, make her an absolute JOY to teach and learn alongside.” - Lindsay Coleman-Taylor, English Language Arts Teacher

  • “I never knew exactly what to expect with Lena, but I knew it would always be interesting and engaging. She never hesitated to express an opinion or ask an important question, and it was exactly what we needed in a year of being apart. I'm so happy she decided to come back in person at the end of the semester because she added something special to our class. She's an excellent student and an all around cool kid!” - Ginger Lehmann,  AP Language teacher
