• Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team for their win over Apalachee in the Region Volleyball Tournament.  The Gladiators will play at Midtown High School in the first round of the State AAAAA Volleyball Playoffs on Tuesday, October 19.  

• Congratulations to the Varsity Football team for their win over Greenbrier. 

• Try-outs for middle school wrestling begin on October 18.  Tryouts for high school wrestling begin on October 25.  All participants must have a valid physical on file. All wrestling try-outs and practices will be Clarke Central.  Contact Coach Shane McCord (mccords@clarke.k12.ga.us) for more information.

GLADIATOR STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 
 

• Congratulations to Catie Kiefer for being chosen as this week’s Clarke Central High School Gladiator Student-Athlete of the Week. Catie is an active leader on the Varsity Volleyball team as the starting setter. “Not only is she our starting setter, but she leads her team with hard work and pushes herself to make the play.” - Head Volleyball Coach, Stacey M. Scott. Catie is involved in multiple school clubs and groups on campus and holds an executive role within the school’s JROTC program. In addition, Catie is the Secretary of Clarke Centrals’s National Honor Society chapter.
